Spousal coverage to be cut by some companies

Insurance is the big topic of every company lateley, especially since "some employers are considering adding a surcharge to cover the health care expenses of their workers’ spouses." The Salt Lake Tribune goes on to say, "Others, like package deliverer United Parcel Service Inc., are excluding spouses from coverage if they are able to get insurance through another employer." Is your company considering this? How do you think this will affect you and the company you work for in the long run?
